Last update:                   This Group is currently not active

Update 22nd January
Sadly at our January meeting Maite told us she was moving and therefore unable to continue with the group.
There was no enthusiasm among members for continuing without a Spanish speaker to guide us.
Therefore the group is currently not active. If you know of anyone who speaks Spanish and might be keen to co-ordinate a Spanish group do get in touch with Veronica Ashworth, the groups' co-ordinator.

Update 19th December

Next meeting is Monday 9th January, owing to 2nd being a bank holiday.
We are returning to the Complete Spanish Book having diverted for activities on Christmas/ New Year in Spanish countries.
We shall be widening vocabulary to be able to describe things more and participating in some of Maite's fun activities to help us practise what we have covered so far.
The group is set up so new people can join at any time - we are not moving at a fast pace. So keen newcomers welcome.
10.30am at Platform Meeting Room as usual.

Update 8th November

Next meeting Monday 5th December at 10.30am. We shall be widening our Spanish vocabulary while finding out about Festive customs in Spanish speaking countries under Maite's guidance.
It is so good to have a native speaker to gently improve our pronunciation and conversation skills!

See you at the Platform Meeting Room or phone for further information.

We are feeling very lucky as Maite, originally from Madrid, has joined us to help with our Spanish.

We will continue to use the Complete Spanish book as a guide but she will introduce added extras to get us talking and make it fun.
